Description:

Scion Staffing , an award-winning recruitment firm, is seeking an experienced business development manager to join our executive search division! If you have experience selling retained search with a proven track record of successful communication with C-suite executives and boards, we encourage you to apply!

This full-time position is for immediate hire! While the role is fully remote, to be eligible for employment, you must reside (full-time) and work from one of our designated core states on the Central or East Coast, specifically: CT, DC, FL, IL, MN, NY, OH, TX, or WI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive client and divisional growth through active sales strategies and direct engagement.
  • Secure executive search and retained recruitment clients and job opportunities nationally and within key markets.
  • Impress inbound client leads with professional and responsive service, fostering strong client relationships and partnerships.
  • Develop new client relationships via phone, email, in-person meetings, strategic cold-calling, and networking.
  • Actively prospect for new business, research prospective clients, and build community connections.
  • Meet and exceed minimum billings requirements to be successful!
  • Be successful at bringing in outside sales accounts that fit our Mission & Values and that are fillable and quality jobs for our devoted candidates and vast network.
  • Follow-up with and engage current clients to build relationships, help ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.
  • Document and organize client information and make essential updates in Bullhorn ATS.
  • Track the status of client engagements, leads, and sales.
  • Use social media weekly to continually develop a business pipeline.
  • Collaborate with teammates to cross-sell other lines of business.
  • Provide top-of-the-line customer service to our clients!
  • Bring passion and energy to an incredible team of professionals!
  • Bringing organization, accuracy, and an impeccable eye for detail to ensure the work and information being sent on behalf of the Partnership teams is top notch!

Who You Are
  • 4+ years prior successful experience in selling retained executive search (within corporate or non-profit staffing firms).
  • Experience selling at a recruiting firm that is a true hunter and sold at a nonprofit search firm or corporate firm for high level retained (prior exp. Selling ED/CEO, VP or C-Level searches such as multiple CFO, COO, CAO, CHRO).
  • Must be able to gain the respect of all experience levels of board members, as this role heavily partners and sells to nonprofit board members.
  • A passion for the executive search industry and empowering client success through our expertise of recruiting and search.
  • Driven, kind, team player who wants to help an amazing company grow and drive results and impact!

  • Drive to make the next phone call and email outreach even better than the last.
  • Experience using LinkedIn and social media platforms for research.

  • Exceptional communication skills including written (proper grammar, punctuation) and verbal.
  • A Bachelor's degree, advanced degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Positive professional attitude; honest and ethical with a team first perspective.

Successful performance in this role would be selling and bringing three to five+ new searches monthly from your expected outbound energy and delivery and our inbound leads if applicable. For each executive search brought via inbound leads provides a commission on average of $800 to $2,000+ depending on the level. Outbound sales commission can double. This provides between $32,000 and $96,000+ in yearly commissions. For high performers more can certainly be made.
