Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to greet, register, and discharge all patients.
  • Cross-train to assist with back-office duties as necessary.
  • Accurately collect and input patient demographics and financial information.
  • Verify and update patient insurance information at the time of registration.
  • Stay informed about Medical Insurance Plans, including deductibles and coverage limits.
  • Collect all co-pays, deductibles, or self-pay amounts upon patient registration.
  • Effectively communicate with patients and clinical staff to facilitate a smooth patient flow.
  • Maintain a friendly and positive work atmosphere by fostering good relations with clients and team members.
  • Support training for new employees, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the reception area and clinic environment.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of medical office experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and insurance practices is a plus.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including MS Outlook and Word.
